Trump Agrees To Fox News Debate Against Kamala Harris

Former President Donald Trump agreed to debate Vice President Kamala Harris on Fox News in early September.

The debate will take place on Sept. 4 in Pennsylvania at a location to be determined, with a live audience and broadcast on Fox News and moderated by Fox hosts Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, Trump said in a post Friday night. post Trump was originally scheduled to debate President Joe Biden on ABC in September, but those plans appeared to change after Biden became emotional during his debate with Trump on June 27 and then dropped out of the race on July 21 to endorse Harris.

“I have an agreement with Fox News to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. Fox News Digital report Trump's announcement that he would agree to debate Harris comes after Fox News had invited both candidates to debate on its network on September 17, the outlet reported.

“Donald Trump is running scared, trying to get out of a debate he already agreed to and asking Fox News for help,” said Michael Tyler, communications director for the Harris campaign. “Trump needs to stop playing ball and show up to the debate he already committed to on September 10th.” according to He told NBC News: “The vice president will be there anyway for a chance to speak to a national audience in prime time. It's not fair, but it is what it is! However, different candidates, their bad policies are the same, and this will be made crystal clear at the debate on September 4th. I look forward to meeting and debating Kamala Harris on September 4th.”
