Marc Anthony's home in the Dominican Republic was reported to have gone up in flames on Thursday, with a local television crew capturing the blaze on camera.
Video footage from news media showed the home engulfed in flames. TMZFootage showed the entire roof of his mansion, known as “El Oasis,” completely destroyed, leaving the supporting beams exposed, which were fully engulfed in flames as firefighters appeared to try to put out the blaze.

As the flames rose higher, crowds began to appear in the video frame, and thick, black smoke soon filled the area, making it difficult for firefighters to fight the fire.
A representative for Anthony told TMZ that the fire started in a bungalow space in a specific area of the property. The main house was undamaged and was salvaged, according to TMZ. Fire officials were eventually able to bring the blaze under control and put out the flames, the report said. No information or details about the cost of damages have been released.
