Yavapai County Manager Maury Thompson has announced the appointment of Zach Wolfe as Yavapai County Budget Manager, effective Sept. 16, 2024.

In making the announcement, Thompson said, “I am pleased to have Zach join the Yavapai County staff. His prior education and experience will be of great help to our organization as we refine, expand and further professionalize our budgeting efforts.”

Wolf comes to Yavapai County with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Public Policy from Arizona State University. He has over 20 years of public sector experience, including serving as Budget Administrator for the City of Marion, Iowa, Senior Management and Budget Analyst for Maricopa County, Arizona, and Special Assistant to the Deputy County Manager for Maricopa County, Arizona.

“I look forward to serving the residents and employees of Yavapai County in managing and communicating the county budget,” Wolf said.
