Maricopa County ballots will be 2 pages long for the 1st time since 2006

Maricopa County election officials said this is the first time since 2006 that a general election ballot will have two pages.

The county expected a long vote.but until recently the “ballot production” process was not completed. The pages are front and back, and the average number of issues on each ballot is 79, although the exact number varies within the county depending on the voter's residence.

Jennifer Liewer is a spokesperson for the Maricopa County Department of Elections.

“The most important thing for voters is to plan ahead, make sure you're registered by October 7th, and consider voting early if you haven't done so before.” It's about gender,” Liewer said.

Ahead of the election, voters will be able to view and print a sample ballot online.

Liewer said there are several reasons for the longer voting times. One is the large number of votes. The other thing is that this year, a Green Party candidate was recognized.

Voters in the West Valley's lonely precincts will have the longest vote in a total of 87 contests. This area is located in both Tolleson High School and Tolleson Elementary school districts.
