The Republican National Committee's (RNC) Director of Election Integrity and Senior Election Integrity Advisor sent a memo Monday to RNC Chair Michael Whatley and Co-Chair Lara Trump, urging hundreds of thousands of volunteers to revealed that it has hired thousands of lawyers and conducted thousands of training sessions. The Daily Caller first learned of the news ahead of the November election.
The RNC is “dedicating unprecedented resources to ensuring election integrity across the country,” according to a memo from RNC Director of Election Integrity Jeanine Bledsoe and Senior Election Integrity Advisor Josh Helton. ” The memo describes their accomplishments and what they hope to accomplish before the election. The memo also notes that the RNC has hired more than 115 paid staff to facilitate volunteer training at the state level.
As of Monday, the total number of volunteers was 219,712, the total number of trainings was 2,004, and the total number of lawyers was 5,077, according to the memo.
The memo also describes field, legal, and communications programs related to election integrity.
“Our field program is designed to recruit and train poll watchers, recruit poll workers, and then submit to the relevant in-state credentialing authorities; We do this by holding ongoing recruitment and training events both in-person and online. When you combine these two populations, we are proud to have recruited a total of over 200,000 volunteers across the country. ” the memo says.
It then states that the field program is divided into 18 states and categorized as follows:
- Presidential Battlefield: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin
- States reached: Minnesota, New Hampshire, Virginia
- Additional major states in the Senate: Florida, Montana, Ohio, Texas
- Other major legislative states: california, new york
- CD states (states with congressional districts with their own electoral votes): Maine, Nebraska

“We have a full-time team of attorneys at RNC headquarters who have direct and ongoing contact with in-state attorneys across the country. Retaining in-state attorneys gives us a significant litigation advantage. Our field attorneys are barred from entering each state and are familiar with the conditions on the ground, able to manage stakeholders, identify legal opportunities, and provide critical information on legal issues. “This will determine how this election plays out in key states,” the memo continues. As for the communications program, the RNC's election integrity team believes that the “centerpiece” of the communications strategy is to generate local coverage by hosting “Protecting the Vote Tour” events across the country, and to date He said there were more than 20 visits. “The RNC's election integrity efforts are unprecedented, both on the field and in the courtroom. As voting begins, we remain confident in the program's ability to see, engage, and resolve issues as they arise. We have lawyers on staff, trained volunteers, and communication equipment to get our message across.”
