Yuma County, AZ (KYMA, KECY) – Demolition of buildings at 185 and 197 S. Main Street is scheduled for the next few weeks. Yuma County Administrative Services Building.

A new building in downtown Yuma will offer multiple services in one convenient location for county residents.

Pilkington Construction, a walk-through tunnel between the Legacy Building (185 S. Main Street) and the Regency Main Street Cinema, will begin installing a fence around the location over the next few weeks.

Yuma County said a pedestrian crossing will also be added to the middle block between Kafecito and the northwest corner of the construction site.

Sidewalk closures will be along the portion of Main Street that faces the project site and along the south side (north of 2).^nd street from Maiden Lane to Main Street).

Includes partial closure of Maiden Lane on the east side and partial closure of the south side of the parking lot on the east side of the planned site.

According to Pilkington Construction, the building will take about two years to complete.
