I’m Mark Stewart. Chandler City Council member, business owner, and family man. I am running to represent the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.

As someone with deep roots in a vibrant community and invested in the Valley’s success, I understand the importance of an efficient and responsive government that reflects the values ​​and needs of our residents.

As Deputy Mayor and City Council member, I have spent my time supporting public safety, creating space for community engagement, and promoting economic growth.

With the right leadership, Maricopa County can become an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. I always ask: “Is this the right thing to do for our neighbors?”

Three core priorities: public safety, transparency, and service excellence.

1) Safety: Safe communities are the backbone of thriving neighborhoods. I have consistently advocated for public safety and approved the hiring of additional police officers and increased pay to improve morale and retention.

We make sure they receive the resources, training, and respect they deserve. Retention in law enforcement and emergency services begins with a culture of support. As Supervisor, I support policies that empower those who work tirelessly to protect us.

A visible, proactive approach to public safety will create a safer and more stable environment for everyone in Maricopa County.

2) Transparency and Trust: I am committed to creating a trustworthy and transparent oversight board that our community can trust.

Residents should feel like they are real stakeholders in county decisions and should be informed and assured that every action taken by the board is in the best interest of the community.

Transparency builds trust. I am determined to ensure that all residents feel secure in the governance of their county.

3. Excellent Customer Service: County government should be run as a service-driven business where residents are treated as valued customers.

I will work to instill a culture of service within county government, just as I did in Chandler. County services must be efficient, accessible, and respectful of taxpayer contributions.

As a business owner, I know the importance of good customer service and accountability. If elected, I will ensure that all county services, from road maintenance to community programs, are delivered in a way that meets the needs and expectations of our communities.

My service as a City Council member has given me unique insight into the needs and values ​​of Maricopa County residents, from public safety to infrastructure. I am ready to bring that experience to the Supervisory Board.
