Trump Fans Blast Rihanna’s Endorsement Post: ‘Maybe She Should Be Arrested’

Fans slammed Rihanna on her Instagram page on Monday after she supported Vice President Kamala Harris in a bizarre social media post.

“When protecting cats and shooting cats can happen in one vote, #votecauseicant #TanSuitSeason,” she captioned the post, which included a video of the singer looking out the window of a moving car. Posted. Wearing black sunglasses, Rihanna joked: “I snuck into the polling station with my son’s passport.” The post quickly drew a wave of criticism, with fans receiving comments mocking her support.

Rihanna expressed her feelings about former President Donald Trump to her 150 million followers, but not everyone supported her views or choice of words. The star has never been an American citizen, and her statement that she sneaked into a voting booth received considerable backlash.

“Illegal voting is a crime. Maybe she should be arrested for attempted attempts,” one user wrote.

Another user added: “You can’t vote unless you’re a citizen.” “She clearly didn’t want it to happen or it would have happened by now. And she’s free to live like that if she wants. 🤷🏽‍♀️”

“I voted to close borders, deportation, and stay away from foreign conflicts. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Abortion is probably not as important as you think it is,” another user wrote.

Meanwhile, another user spoke out to lecture Rihanna, suggesting her perspective was skewed.

“Wanting to secure your borders is like closing the door to your house. It’s not a locked door, it’s just closed. All you have to do is open it and go inside. All you have to do is get in,” the user wrote. “There’s a right way and a wrong way to get in. Those who oppose having a secure border are essentially saying it’s okay to break a window and get in. ”

“This is exactly why celebrities shouldn’t post political opinions. How are you going to mislead your fans? Stick to the music,” the user continued.

Another user added: “I would rather protect women’s rights by not allowing men to participate in women’s sports and by not allowing men to go into closed rooms reserved for women.” “I think we just have different priorities.” (Related: ‘I never went to a Diddy party’: NASCAR star Danica Patrick slams Kamala Harris’ celebrity endorsement)
