President-elect Donald Trump returned to Madison Square Garden on Saturday night for his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 309 bout, where he received thunderous applause from the crowd.
Just over a week after Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in both the electoral and popular votes, the former president made a grand appearance at an event in New York City. Accompanied by UFC CEO Dana White, President Trump was joined by billionaire Elon Musk, former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former Democratic Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and other Cabinet members. Several people appointed by the government closely followed the project.
“This room is so loud,” announcer and podcast host Joe Rogan was heard saying. “There’s always a lot of noise when he comes here, but now that he’s president, it doesn’t mean he’s won — oh my god.”
