what about the qualifiers?
Qualifier contestants sing one song of their choice in front of the judges, other contestants, and the audience.
- your song is sung a cappella (No instruments, background music, etc.) Just you and Mike!
- Your song should be memorized. If you think only about words, you will not be able to concentrate on your performance.
- Try to limit it to 60-90 seconds. One verse and one chorus is enough for the judges to judge your talent.
- Song selection: It is highly recommended to choose songs that the judges are familiar with.
- Look at the part: Dressing up is not required, but highly appreciated. A great way to show the judges that this event was worth the effort for you! Make your best sound.
- Judges critique your performance Right after finishing. After all contestants have sung, the judges decide who and how many will advance to the finals. Guaranteed winner every night!
- 3 finalists will be selected by the jury Participated in the final tournament from each preliminary round.
- One or more contestants in each qualifier will be selected to compete in Callback NightOne contestant will be selected on callback night to advance to the finals.
- Judges can choose any number of alternates in each qualifier. Once all qualifiers are finished, vote for your favorite substitute here at GilaValleyCentral.net and the winner will also compete in the finals.
