A federal appeals court has cleared the way for special counsel Jack Smith to release his final report on two cases against President-elect Donald Trump.
11th Circuit Court of Appeals rejected This is an attempt by President Trump’s co-defendants in the classified documents case to block the release of the report. However, an order by Judge Eileen Cannon limiting the release of the report until Sunday remained in place.
If the Department of Justice (DOJ) wants to challenge Cannon’s order, it can still appeal to the 11th Circuit, according to the order.
