Sally Struthers made shocking claims about the late Betty White after calling her a “very passive-aggressive woman.”
Struthers appeared on the January 13 episode of “Let’s Talk About That!” On a podcast with Larry Saperstein and Jacob Bellotti, he took aim at the legendary “Golden Girls” star. She recalled a negative interaction she had with White at his home, during which Struthers claimed White fat-shamed her.
“I know everyone loved her. They loved her so much,” Struthers said on the podcast. “They signed a petition to have her guest host on ‘Saturday Night Live.’ I know all about it. I’ve never had a better experience with her.”
Struthers said she had visited White’s home to discuss a new game show pilot. During their conversation, White asked the housekeeper to bring her something to eat, she said.
The “Gilmore Girls” actress said the conversation has changed since then.
“Then a plate was placed in the middle and I believe it was a cookie,” Struthers said.

Struthers said White then made comments that made her feel fat-shamed and targeted because of her weight.
Struthers alleged that White “so I reached for the cookie and she said in front of everyone, ‘Oh, I wouldn’t do that, sweetheart.'” No cookies required. ”

Saperstein and Belotti expressed shock when they heard the story.
“I was totally fat shamed in front of the other people in the room,” Struthers said.

As the conversation about White faded, Struthers continued that she had more positive memories of fellow Golden Girls star Bea Arthur.
