Harry Sisson, an internet influencer and staunch Democrat, got into a meltdown on Tuesday when he was pressed to answer definitively how many genders there are.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday night directing the federal government to recognize two genders, male and female, but Sison insisted that makes no sense. During an appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Mr. Sisson repeatedly declared that there were “at least two genders” without specifying the actual number, and the committee asked Mr. Sisson to specify the actual number. Pressure was applied repeatedly.
“How many genders are there, Harry? Come on, kid, how many genders are there?” political commentator Dave Rubin asked.
“Again, I can’t answer that because they don’t know what they’re talking about,” Sisson said. “I’ll use it [former President] Joe Biden has at least two answers. The show’s host Piers Morgan asked Sisson about what could exist outside of men and women.
“What else? [genders]? asked Morgan. “What else do you have?”
“It’s so funny how conservatives have time to lie on this show, but they all interrupt me when I’m talking and there’s nothing wrong with that,” Sison said. I encouraged them to say that they had a question. “Piers, you asked me a question about President Donald Trump’s executive order, and I’m trying to explain how legally it makes no sense and will be challenged in court. Enter the culture war with Rubin. [radio and talk show host Ben] A man from Ferguson asks how many genders there are. I’m trying to answer your question, but they’re screaming in your face about an issue that doesn’t matter. ”
Throughout the segment, Sisson never gave an exact number on the number of genders.
Trump’s order The Gender Report states: “Using clear and accurate language and policies that recognize women as biologically female and men as biologically male will protect women’s rights and protect their conscience. We will protect freedom.” It also requires governments to use the term “sex” instead of “gender” and requires government-issued identification to “accurately reflect” an individual’s biological sex. .
“’Gender’ shall refer to the immutable biological classification of an individual as either male or female. “‘Sex’ is not a synonym for, and does not include, the concept of ‘gender identity,'” the order states. ““Female” or “female” and “girl” or “girl” shall mean adult and juvenile human females, respectively. “Male” or “male” and “juvenile” or “juvenile” shall mean an adult male and a juvenile human male, respectively. ”
The order upholds gender ideology as a premise that falsely claims that biological males “can identify and become women, and vice versa.”
PPRI June 2023 National Poll Found 65% of Americans believe there are only two genders. The poll was conducted among 5,000 adults from March 9th to 23rd, and had a margin of error of 1.5%.
