Donald Trump’s board of directors at the Kennedy Center urged “Barbie” actress and activist Issaray to give up on her show and create a quick exit.
Ray pulled out the plug on her own sold out show on February 13th statement Posted on Instagram Stories. She tried to explain the sudden self-report to ticket holders by whining about the organization’s “violation of values” after Trump’s new takeover. Rae’s own politically driven decision influenced all those scheduled to attend her event, titled “Evening with Issa Rae.”

The actress tried to justify her sudden cancellation to abandoned fans.
“Unfortunately, I have decided to cancel my appearance at this venue because I believe it is an infringement of the value of an institution that has faithfully praised artists of all backgrounds through every medium,” she said in a statement. I’ve said that.
She informed the ticket holder that they would be refunded and closed her message by writing, “Thank you for understanding and I hope to meet you.”
