Phoenix – Maricopa County representatives commemorated Thursday Grand Opening Buckeye’s affordable housing development, according to a press release.
Solana Villawhich consists of 200 1-3 bedroom units, accepts applications from individuals with incomes of less than 60% of the county. Regional median income (ami).
The new apartment is located just west of Buckeye Union High School, 85, 25201 W. MC.
The rental unit ranges from 707-1,207 square feet and features pre-installed essentials such as a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, oven and more. Other units offered are central air conditioners and walk-in closets, according to a press release.
Maricopa County District 5 manager Steve Garraldo said the addition of more affordable housing was a “big victory.”
“It’s more than just a new community. It demonstrates the (Maricopa County) Board of Directors’ commitment to meeting the affordable housing needs of county families in a rapidly expanding area,” Garaldo said in the release. “This project represents our continued dedication to ensuring that everyone has access to affordable locations where they can call their home.”
Externally, Buckeye Rental Community has the following facilities, including a clubhouse, an intensive laundry area, a fitness centre, several picnic areas, an electric charging carport, a swimming pool and free Wi-Fi throughout the general accommodation space:
Solana Villas was a by-product of a $2 million federal investment through the US Rescue Plan Act. The rental community is one of four active projects led by Minnesota-based company Roers Cos.
