National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning for Coconino County from 1:49pm on March 12th. The warning expires at 8am on March 13th.
Heavy snow is expected with accumulation of 6-12 inches of snow. Locally, a large amount of snow up to 18 inches can cause the highest terrain to fall along the Mogoronrim and Kaibabu Plateau. A gust of wind can range from 45 to 55 mph.
Snowfall from noon on Thursday to 5am on Friday includes a total of 12-18 inches of forest lakes and 8-12 inches of Flagstaff, Mann’s Park, Williams and Jacob Lakes. 6-8 inches of Pine Strowberry. 4-6 inches of snow from Doney Park and Heber-Overgaard. And the traces are a few inches of Fredonia snow.
