Megyn Kelly Says Thinking You’re Female When You’re Male Is ‘Bridge Too Far,’ Blasts Judge Who Overturned Trump EO

On her show Wednesday, Sirius XM’s Megin Kelly condemned a decision by a “left-wing judge of the eyes” who determined that gender identity should not be disqualified from military service despite gender discomfort.

Biden-appointed judge Ana Reyes issued a preliminary injunction on Tuesday against President Donald Trump’s executive order banning transgender individuals from serving the US military, halting enforcement until a formal ruling was made. Kelly condemned Judge Reyes’ decision, saying, “When you’re actually a man, you think you’re a woman.”

“The Chief Commander and the Secretary of Defense cannot tell you that you cannot serve. You can be too short. Your anxiety thinks you are a woman when you are actually a man, but for this awakened leftist judge who had already declared before her award last night, you think you are a bridge.

“The concept of only two genders is wrong. It’s biologically wrong. Kelly asked guest Rich Raleigh.

Laurie said recent changes in military policies to address transgender individuals could distract the Pentagon’s main focus on combat. (Related: Biden-appointed judge blocking transgender bans was once an anti-Trump legal activist)

“So obviously, this is an initiative that perfectly matches the entire priorities of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon, and it’s about focusing on combat and not being distracted by other nonsense,” Laurie told Kelly. “And we can create a completely rational case of gender discomfort that is not consistent with the harshness of the battle and the organization dedicated to focusing on combat. And in fact, this resolve was very reasonable and in reality it was.”

In his ruling Tuesday night, Reyes referenced the Broadway musical Hamilton to block the Trump administration’s ban on transgender individuals, which emphasized that “all people will be created equally.” Reyes chose the musical comprehensive phrase from the Declaration of Independence, “all men are made equal.”

In the ruling, Reyes said the Trump administration’s policy of banning transgender people from military service was established on speculation and was full of bias. Meanwhile, Defense Secretary Pete Hegses said eliminating left-wing social engineering, including transgender ideology, is a top priority to focus on combat effectiveness.
