Patty Gasso is not playing awakened nonsense.
Oklahoma Thules softball players have recently come out and heard about campus from conservative superstar Riley Gaines about biological men in female sports.
There’s absolutely nothing scandalous about that, but the student reporter tried to bring the situation together. But thank OU head coach Patti Gasso, she doesn’t have that politically right stupidity.
Oklahoma chapter Turning Point USA took Gaines to the OU campus, where they gave both Speech and Q&A session Involving trans athletes involved in female track and field. Certainly, you protested here and there for the event, but it was a success with a few female student athletes from softball, golf, soccer, track and rowing teams. A few days after Gaines’ campus visit, an OU Daily Sports reporter showed that mention of Gasso in his postgame press showed that several softball players had appeared in Gaines’ speech.
And gasso, well, she just supported her players.
“I didn’t hear (Gaines’) comment so I can’t comment on what I didn’t hear, but the fact that our team is there is their right to do with whether they want to go,” Gasso said. “I support them with whatever they choose.”
