Lil Wayne shared details of her incredibly unique encounter with Donald Trump in an April 17 interview with Rolling Stone.

Lil Wayne said Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, greeted him before Trump joined, saying he wanted to forgive him on federal gun charges the president was looming. Lil Wayne’s Jet was attacked in December 2019, and agents discovered a loaded, gold-plated .45 caliber handgun. The well-known artist said he didn’t even know who Kushner was at the time, but that day had an unexpectedly fun turn.
The star discovered that Kushner was a fan of his music and defended the pardon.

Lil Wayne told Rolling Stone that he recalled his lawyers, Bradford Cohen and Trump, seeing “Powwy,” and engaging in humorous banter. Cohen was once a “Apprentice” contestant.
Lil Wayne said it was when the opportunity to photograph appeared.

The rapper said Trump was jokingly talking again, referring to others. “These motherfuckers are fucking pictures on me, fucking day, man. He said.

The artist spoke to those who criticized his decision to take a photo with Trump. “I don’t mind not rebelling for doing nothing,” he told Rolling Stone. “My mom would have been mad if she hadn’t smiled. That might have been the only repulsion I was worried about.”
Despite his positive experiences with him, Wayne continued to explain why he didn’t support Trump in his final election cycle.
“You probably don’t want that,” because I don’t know what’s going on,” he admitted. “Who won the last game? But I really can’t… do you know what I mean?”
