Videos circulating on social media show passengers evacuating Delta Air Line flights after the plane’s engines burn.
The incident occurred Monday at Orlando International Airport after Delta Line 1213 experienced an engine fire before its departure. I said x.
A video shared by Forbes on YouTube shows flames and smoke appearing from the right side of the aircraft. After a while, you can see the passengers slipping down, and you can see the slide unfolding on the other side of the plane. People can also see them rushing from the tarmac plane.
Delta Air Lines has not reported any injuries. Delta said 282 passengers and 12 crew members, including two pilots, were on the Airbus A330. The flight is a regular carrier from Orlando to Atlanta, Georgia.

The airline began evacuating passengers after the flight crew was seen in “one tailpipe of the aircraft’s two engines.” (Related: Delta Air Line Plane loses some of its parts during flight and makes an emergency U-turn).
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the plane had left the gate for takeoff around 11:15am when the engine started fire.
Officials were to return passengers to the terminal and be provided with food and drinks, the airline added. The maintenance crew inspects the aircraft, and the airline provides additional aircraft to monitor the customers at their destination.
“We appreciate your cooperation and apologise for your experience,” the airline said in a statement. “There’s nothing more important than working to get customers to their final destinations as quickly as possible.”
The FAA said they would investigate the incident.
The incident comes about two months after a Delta Air Lines plane crashed in Toronto. The February 2025 flight from Minneapolis was flipped over while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The crash injured 21 passengers, but all 80 people on board survived the incident. According to CBS News. The plane carried 76 passengers and four crew members.
