Still ready to start Republican votes, New York?
The Long Island high school had to leave the “Chief” mascot name following an attack from Progressive, but President Donald Trump vowed to save Massapequa High School’s identity. Trump spoke about the situation in a Monday post on True Society.
For a while, everything related to Native Americans has been attacked by progressives who have been unable to care about sports, but who want all the power to the team and student-athletes. And this is just an example. Plus, it makes them racist, taking into account the way they want to completely erase our Native American heritage and history.
Go back 2023the New York State Department of Education requested that all schools with Native American mascots rebrand from there. (Related: Joe Biden was against women’s sports men behind the scenes: Report)
Supported by Massapequa School Board President Kelly Wachter, locals and those who support the movement, he has supported the movement shot in the lawsuit and joined other towns. If the brand is done, Wachter says it will force the school to spend $1 million to do it.
Trump illustriously called on Education Secretary Linda McMahon to do 180 in a “silly” move, saying it has sparked rage among the Native American community.
“I agree with the people of Massapequa on Long Island who are fighting furiously to keep the Massapequa Chiefs logo in their teams and schools. After all this year, I’m going to force them to change their names. “The Board of Education, and virtually everyone in the area, requires them to keep their names. It’s become the identity of the school. What is wrong with using the name “Chief”?
“I haven’t seen Kansas City chiefs change their names anytime soon! With this copy of the truth, I am asking for a very capable education secretary, Linda McMahon, to fight for the people of Masapequa on this very important issue.
I agree with the people of Masapequa on Long Island. They are fighting fiercely to maintain the Massa Pequa Chiefs logo for their teams and schools. After all these years, it is ridiculous to force them to change their names, and in reality it is a humiliation to our great Indian population. …
