Kamala Harris Lost Because People Voted, Not Because They Didn’t, Research Shows

Claims by some Democrats – The claim that millions of home-based progressives may have cost Vice President Kamala Harris, Vice President, has collapsed in light of new analysis.

New Pew Research study Released Thursday shows that Harris was even more violently broken with high voter turnout. (Related: More voters decide they’re more called non-Democrats.)

“When asked how they voted, people are entitled to vote for whom they are. I didn’t do that Doing so was divided fairly evenly into their preferences. “44% said they supported Trump, while 40% said they supported Harris,” the study said.

Conversely, during the 2020 election, non-voting members supported former President Joe Biden by 11%.

The 2024 figures draw a picture of an obvious political reorganization – one time long belief That high turnout helps the Democrats. Pew’s analysis shows that invested voters are not Democrat idealists who are held back by voter ID laws, but mostly drifted to the right or indifferent people at home.

In the 2024 race, voter participation reached 64% (the second highest rate since 1960), but 26% of eligible adults have not voted in any of the last three national contests.

Additionally, Trump is carrying 40% of Asian voters, 48% of Hispanics and 15% of black voters, expanding multi-ethnic coalitions, Pew’s study shows. Of the men under 50, the group that voted 10% points for Biden in 2020, Trump surpassed Harris by one point, the report shows. 89% of Trump’s 2020 voters reappeared, with Biden 85%. Harris also gave support among those who skipped 2020 but voted in 2024. Of these voters, 54% won Trump and 42% won Democrat candidates who failed. Of the registered Democrats at home, seven in 10 said they supported Harris. According to Another New York Times analysis – loyalty gap Trump has not suffered from Republicans.
