On Monday night, President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel after several days of missile exchanges. However, it’s uncertain if this ceasefire will hold by Tuesday, as operations are still ongoing.
For the moment, it seems that further violent clashes in the region are being avoided.
“Everyone, congratulations. A complete agreement has been reached between Israel and Iran. A full ceasefire is imminent—estimated to begin in about six hours. The military conflicts have concluded!” Trump shared on The Truth Society platform.
“This is a conflict that has persisted for years and has the potential to devastate the entire Middle East, but thankfully, that hasn’t happened!”

Don’t hesitate to voice political thoughts. Auburn Tigers men’s basketball coach Bruce Pearl expressed his gratitude for efforts aimed at reducing loss of life in both nations.
Pearl even urged Trump to be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize.
This is what peacemakers and leaders worldwide do. He’s presenting offers that neither party can reject. He should win the Nobel Peace Prize. I hope all elements lead to grace and the preservation of peace. 🙏 https://t.co/idujw0sfb3

“This is what peacemakers and leaders of the free world do. He proposes offers that neither side can refuse,” Pearl remarked. “He should indeed be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize. I hope that all involved can find common ground to maintain peace.”
If a lasting peace is achieved, Pearl will likely join the ranks of those supporting the president and continue to commend his established role as a mediator.
