Iranian Group Allegedly Presents $40 Million Reward For Trump’s ‘Cause Of Allah’

Iranian Group Offers Bounty for Trump

An Iranian organization claims to have raised over $40 million as a reward for the assassination of former President Donald Trump, according to a recent report. The group, known as the “Blood Covenant” movement, incentivizes individuals to kill Trump “in Allah’s cause,” purportedly in response to recent military actions by the U.S. and Israel against Iran.

The Middle East Media Institute (MEMRI) reported on this, referencing its own translation of material from the movement’s website. U.S. officials have previously associated Iran with threats against Trump, suggesting that Islamic leaders have issued directives to eliminate him. It’s a rather intense situation, isn’t it?

Fars News, an Iranian state-affiliated television outlet, shared an official statement from the Blood Covenant Movement, framing the initiative as a way to “defend” Iranian leader Ali Khamenei. Interestingly, Muslim scholars are said to have started a fundraising campaign on July 3, deeming it a religious duty for all Muslims. It’s mind-boggling, really.

In a rather serious tone, a spokesperson discussed the protection of the President, stating they operate in a “highly dynamic threat environment.” While specifics on protection measures can’t be disclosed for security reasons, they emphasized ongoing collaboration with various agencies to ensure safety.

The Pentagon opted not to provide comments on the situation.

Earlier this year, Trump targeted Iran’s nuclear site with airstrikes on June 21, aiming to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear capabilities. Just two days later, he conveyed that Iran had agreed to a ceasefire with Israel after a couple of weeks of tension.

Additionally, federal prosecutors charged three individuals in November for allegedly plotting to assassinate Trump on behalf of Iran. Following the airstrikes in June, one of Iran’s Grand Ayatollahs reportedly issued a fatwa calling for Trump’s death, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.

A spokesperson from the State Department remarked on the unwise nature of threatening Americans, particularly the former President. The complexities here are, well, quite significant.
