LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – The Mojave County Sheriff’s Office released an update on Monday regarding the 2022 murders under investigation.
On December 4, 2022, lawmakers responded to calls that human remains were found in a remote desert area of Yucca near Alamo Road and Boriana Mine Road.
Investigators found a tarp in a large pile of rubble containing the body of an as yet unidentified man.

Men wore size 11-11 ½ Durango Rebel boots, a dark Professional Fishing Gear t-shirt, and size 39W and 34L blue jeans.
He had a silver link-style necklace, a silver ring, and a silver watch with a metal-style band.
Bic Writer was found along with a novelty cover for a mobile phone that said “Fishing is calling you.”
Authorities say the victim had a tattoo named Chase with the name 5/13/??, with the last two digits illegible.
He is described as being 6 feet to 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 200 to 220 pounds, and being in his late 40s to early 50s.
