‘Abhorrent To Business’: Billionaire Warns Kamala Harris ‘Further Left Than Biden’

Billionaire investor Barry Sternlicht warned Tuesday that Vice President Kamala Harris' policies are harmful to business and that she is more progressive than President Joe Biden.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) under the Biden-Harris administration has targeted successful American industries, including artificial intelligence and big fashion. “Half the country is still independent. Someone in the middle is going to win the election. If Trump can convince moderates like me to be a moderate, he'll win. And I don't think Trump is a middle-of-the-road personality. She's more to the left of Biden. And her policies are obviously anathema to business,” Sternright said. “I don't know how that will play out… and she's going to have to be in the middle. I think her running mate will be somewhat important… I mean, her meetings in Washington have been mostly with the Congressional Black Caucus and progressives. She's ignoring the moderates.”

“We all think the FTC has missed the mark when it comes to business… They're going after the real estate industry. We and another company together have less than a tenth of a percent of the market, and they're going after our pricing,” the billionaire added. “I mean, how can all this crazy stuff happen when Google has like 95% of the searches or whatever? So I'm like, [Khan] It's completely crazy.”
