Poller Frank Lunz claimed on Thursday that Democrats are “worst” communicators than President Donald Trump, following his actions in Congress speech on Tuesday.
In Trump’s speech, Democrats protested and rarely praised. Luntz criticized Democrats’ actions against the “Squawk Box,” saying voters criticized the party for being less of a spurred on it and focusing on opposing Trump rather than offering a unique solution. “The viewers really hate it.[d] [it]. They saw this performance art. They saw it as a bad form of the opposite,” Luntz said. “And they’ve now asked Democrats since the start of this administration: ‘What are your options?’ Just as I’m Trump’s communication, Democrats are getting much worse. ”
“For them, there’s no policy. There’s only opposition,” he continued. “Obviously, I’ve heard nothing from Democrats when I’m in conversation and working to reach out to both parties, delivering a consistent agenda and delivering a consistent message.”
Luntz especially criticized Democrats for keeping their signs in speech and Democrat Texas Rep. Al Green. Ten Democrats joined Republicans on Thursday and voted to pass a resolution denounced Green.
“And actually, what they decided to do with those paddles, what they decided to do as Rep. Green, was absolutely abominable to voters,” the pollster said. “I believe that Trump’s agenda is right for what the public is looking for right now.”
“They want illegal immigrants to stop. They want accountability in Washington. They want a safe street, a safe neighbour,” he continued. “They agree with what he’s doing and oppose the Democrats where they stand. All they’re looking for is “look forward, don’t look back.” ”
Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly said News Nation host Chris Cuomo on Wednesday believes that “Democrats are on the verge of collapse” due to hostility towards the president.
“When you hate someone, you lose all your perspective. You lose all your feelings. You lose all your feelings. You are consumed. And I wrote a book about going out in September called Carriage Evil,” O’Reilly said. “And these people who did all these horrible things all had one thing in common. They hated it. They hated it all. That’s what you saw at the Chamber of Commerce last night.”
CNN Opinion survey An SSRS Tuesday conducted it found that 80% of speech viewers felt Green’s suspension was “inappropriate.” Furthermore, polls found that 69% consider Trump’s speech to be “very positive” or “somewhat positive.”
