Aderholt visits southern border, calls on Biden to act

U.S. Representative Robert Aderholt visited the southern border in Eagle Pass, Texas, on Wednesday to express security concerns.

“What's happening at the border, today and every day since President (Joe) Biden took the oath of office three years ago, is outrageous and must be stopped,” Aderholt said. “As we were watching, people were illegally streaming across borders. And we have no way of knowing who these people are or what their intentions are. Border Patrol agents and our country are at breaking point. And the Biden administration doesn't seem to care.”

In a video posted to his X profile on Tuesday, Aderholt talks about the issue as two migrants appear to be attempting to cross the river into U.S. territory.

“The evidence is undeniable. On his first day in office, President Biden reversed Trump policies that were working, including building the border wall,” Aderholt said. “And his administration attacked anyone who suggested or attempted to solve this disaster, whether it was members of Congress or state and local officials.

Aderholt called on Biden to restore former President Donald Trump's “remain in Mexico” policy and complete the border wall, but these are actually futile actions that serve as propaganda for the November general election. He admitted that it was an evocation.

“I have no confidence that President Biden or his administration will act. It will be up to House Republicans to use the tools of government at their disposal, but it will also be up to voters in November to stop this invasion of our nation's sovereignty and security.” is.”
