Meet the 8-year-old Australian cow dog and the Doverman Pinscher Mix Cosmo, who has been in care for the Arizona Humane Society for over 50 days. Thankfully, this sweet elderly boy has arrived healthy and has only been some routine dental work to ensure his pearly white shines brightly. During our stay with us, Cosmo was a favorite among volunteers who took him on field trips through our dog field trip program. During these outings, Cosmo has been meeting new people and showing how great he is when he gets into the car. He already knows tricks like “sit down” and “foot.” Despite being on the old side, the Cosmos still have a lot of energy, prioritizing physical activity and doing their best in the house to give them time to rest after their adventure.
