Introducing Oliver, an energetic 1-year-old blue-nosed American Pit Bull Terrier. When Oliver was rescued, he was suffering from stab wounds, a broken leg, and a distended abdomen. X-rays revealed the extent of his injuries. His stomach was filled with stones and his broken leg showed signs of a bone infection. Due to fears of sepsis, the decision was made to amputate the injured limb. The surgery was successful, but Oliver then developed kennel cough. However, with the loving care of Foster Hero, Oliver soon began to recover. He has since made a full recovery and is fully accustomed to life on three legs. The pain and discomfort from his previous injuries are gone, and Oliver has the energy to be the cheerful and outgoing boy he always was. Interested adopters can meet him at AHS’ Papago Park campus.
