Introducing Chowder, an adorable cow-dog mix that looks like an Oreo milkshake. Chowder is an active boy who thrives on mental and physical stimulation, so we are looking for a home where he can run, play, and participate in fun activities every day. Chowder is still a puppy at heart and doesn’t quite realize how big he is, so he needs an owner to teach him manners and guide him to reach his full potential. He has already mastered “sit” but would like to learn more with proper training. Due to Chowder’s high energy level, he is best in a home that is not an apartment where he can stretch his legs and explore. He will thrive with active families and individuals who spend time together outdoors, provide lots of enrichment, and give him the love and attention he deserves. Come to HALO today and meet this big boy!halo

Meet Wallace, a not-so-typical pug with a passion for speed. This adorable little guy is full of energy and ready to take on life. Unlike most pugs who love to laze around, Wallace loves to play and zoomie. He loves running around the garden and showing off his lightning movements. But once he releases his energy, he loves curling up in your lap and snoring. If you’re looking for a pug with a bit more feistiness in your steps, the Wallace is the dog for you. He will bring endless joy and speed to your life. Come to HALO today and meet this amazing pug!halo

Meet Linda, a 3-year-old Australian Kelpie mix who has been in the care of the Arizona Humane Society for months. Linda came to us after her previous owner handed her over to our field team following an investigation. Upon admission to our trauma hospital for evaluation, she was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and prescribed a medication regimen. After a few days, Linda made a full recovery and was back to good health. Linda is a little timid at first, but as soon as she knows she can trust you (especially with the help of some treats), she loves to show off how she’s doing. She is really obedient and kind. Linda will have to meet all the other dogs in the house, but she will make a great family pet and is ready to receive the same unconditional love she gives. Meet her at the South Mountain Campus or learn more at azhumane.org/adopt.AHS

Hi! My name is Meadow and I am a pint sized shepherd mix. I came to HALO from Mexico to find a new home. I may be young, but I like older people and my new human friends must be 16 or older. I love the company of other dogs, so I do my best when I have a canine friend at home to learn from. My HALO friends take me for walks, but how can I get Zoomies? My adoption fee was waived. If you have a nice cozy corner in your house where I can take a nap, visit me at HALO’s main shelter today!halo
