Farquaad is looking for a new kingdom to rule! Although he shares the same name as Shrek's famous nemesis, this adorable brown tabby cat is more likely to be cast as a hero than a villain. Farquaad was rescued from storage earlier this summer by one of Arizona Humane Society's emergency animal medical technicians. When rescuers first arrived, Farquaad was understandably frightened and confused. The 5-year-old kitten is now adjusting to her new life at AHS and is learning to trust humans again with lots of treats, ear scratches, and cuddles. Just scratch him behind the ear and he'll cuddle you more. After a difficult start in her life, Farquaad hopes to find a patient family who will give her the time she needs to adjust to her new home. In his ideal home, he might even have one more feline friend who will boost his confidence and show him tricks around his new home.
