The CRFA remarked on the enthusiasm for the upcoming election season and expressed excitement about engaging with candidates across the state. This information has circulated widely on social media, and Secretary of State candidate Wes Allen acknowledged his significant lead.
It’s notable that much support also exists for Pamela Casey, the Blount County District Attorney, as she is drawing interest from former Alabama Supreme Court judges like Jay Mitchell and Steve Marshall. Casey kicked off her campaign in January, while Mitchell and Robertson intend to announce their bids later this year.
The Alabama Republican primary is scheduled for May 19, 2026.
