Alabama Republicans Back Trump on Russia-Ukraine Conflict

Alabama Republicans are expressing their support for President Donald Trump’s stance regarding the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

On Monday, Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and several European leaders, just days after his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During the meeting, Trump stated, “We talked about Ukraine’s security guarantees, which align with the assurances provided by the U.S. and various European nations.”

Members of Alabama’s Republican Congressional delegation praised the former president’s efforts to foster peace between the two nations.

Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) referred to Trump as “the president of peace.”

He shared these thoughts while appearing on the Fox Business Network: “We are thankful for President Trump, who is advocating for us. He is a peacemaker—he really has made a difference.”

Senator Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) echoed Tuberville’s sentiments, labeling Trump as “the President of Peace.” She emphasized the importance of strong leadership at this critical moment in history.

Britt tweeted, “President Trump knows that peace is achieved through strength, which is why he fully supports robust security guarantees for Ukraine. These are vital to prevent a Russian invasion and to sustain a peaceful agreement.”

Representative Barry Moore, a candidate for the U.S. Senate, stated, “President Trump has accomplished more for peace in just a few months than previous administrations managed in their entire tenure.”

U.S. Representative Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) praised Trump’s ongoing efforts to resolve global conflicts, highlighting how American leadership can be leveraged to end violence and save lives.
