Pinal County will hold its annual peace officer memorial service on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Memorial Wall at 971 Jason Lopez Circle in Florence, Arizona. This service is dedicated to honoring fallen officers who gave their lives in service while serving the citizens of Pinal County.
The event provides an opportunity for the community to come together and honor the service and sacrifice of fallen officers, their families, and institutions. The service also recognizes the bravery and dedication of today’s heroes of public safety.
The event’s keynote speaker is Arizona State Representative Teresa Martinez. Her speech is expected to reflect the significance of the sacrifices made by these officers and the impact they have had on the community.
Family members of survivors attending the event are encouraged to sign in to the Welcome Tent. There, you will either be shown to your seat or guided to a family march. Worship service begins at 6:50pm with a procession followed by the main program at 7:00pm.
