County election officials said there is misinformation circulating about who can vote in Coconino County.
COCONINO COUNTY, Ariz. — Coconino County election officials issued a warning Tuesday about misinformation about who can vote in the county.
Election officials say an unknown group shared information with voters at the polls saying they could vote on federal-only ballots in Coconino County even though they were registered to vote in another Arizona county. This was reported to polling station staff.
According to Arizona law, voters can only vote in the county in which they are registered.
Coconino County has 15 voting centers where all voters can vote, regardless of precinct, and 24 polling places per precinct. Polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. To find their designated polling place, voters can visit: Coconino County Elections Department Website
Voters must remember to bring a valid form of identification, such as a driver’s license, state ID card, or other government-issued identification.
As of noon Tuesday, all polling places were open and functioning with reasonable wait times, county officials said.
