PHOENIX – Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs signed into law Monday a bill banning sex dolls that allow the faces of real children to be seen.
The bill, proposed by Republican Rep. Quan Nguyen, provides a fourth-degree felony for possession, trafficking and importation of child sex dolls.
The bill would also change the existing second-degree felony of sexual exploitation of a minor to include acts involving child sex dolls using the face, image, or likeness of a real infant or minor under the age of 12. I’m trying
Nguyen’s bill defines a “child sex doll” as an anatomically correct doll that resembles an infant or child under the age of 12 and is used for sexual simulation or gratification. At least five other states are in the process of introducing similar bills.
“Among all the horrors, I had no idea that sex dolls made to look like children existed,” Nguyen said. “These dolls are child-sacrificing gateways and have no value or purpose other than to arouse some people’s dangerous desire to sexually abuse young children. We live in a civilized country where there is no room for such extreme perversions.Children must be protected.As Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, I will lead judicial matters and advocate for children. We are proud to have introduced other laws to minimize crime.”
The issue was brought to Nguyen’s attention by Pinal County officials, and law enforcement is increasingly encountering individuals with these items, but at this time it has no power to press charges against suspects in connection with them. said no.

The bill received strong bipartisan support and passed the House by a 58-0 vote.
