AYERS: I Was Pence’s Top Aide. It’s Time To Unite Behind Trump

President Donald Trump will be remembered as the man who saved democracy, not destroyed it. He has uniquely withstood unlawful attacks from the very bureaucracies and organizations that interfered in national elections not once, not twice, but three times.

Those who hold such extreme views of Trump need to take time to ask themselves the motives for their disdain. It can't be the world peace, cheap energy, secure borders, and fair trade deals he delivered as president. Joe Biden has systematically dismantled these successes. Combined with soaring inflation and racial divisions, he placed Americans squarely on the front lines of World War III.

For years, Joe Biden has used the great powers of the executive branch to attack President Trump and claim he is. of Threat to democracy. This is a classic example of projection.

Instead, Democrats and Washingtonians who claim to protect our institutions have destroyed trust in and degraded these once-respected institutions by interfering with and using them to subvert the political process.

The initial attack on President Trump began with the now-debunked Russian collusion theory.

There is no doubt that the left orchestrated the Russia hoax. Opposition investigation funded by Hillary Clinton launches investigation that will tear the country apart. President Trump was completely acquitted, but for years in the White House he was unfairly stigmatized as an illegitimate president, while Secretary Clinton denied the actual results of the 2016 presidential election. Meanwhile, President Trump and those close to him were being stalked by brutal agents, some of whom were corrupt. election.

Abuse of investigative powers has been a calling card of the left in the Trump era.

When President Trump wanted to expose the Biden family's unethical dealings in Ukraine, he encountered a false impeachment. Just imagine? The reaction to the overwhelming evidence that Biden and his family profited from running a foreign policy that benefited foreign clients was to impeach the very people who rightfully tried to expose it. Met.

Impeachment failed again, but the left's conspiracy succeeded. If the American people had a fair chance to hear the truth, Mr. Biden would not have secured the votes in the 2020 election.

The 2020 election was filled with claims of fraud and last-minute election law changes. Americans were understandably upset and concerned about this, and on January 6th they gathered at the Capitol to protest.

This is a day that feels particularly sensitive to me, given my respect for Mike Pence. What seemed like a clear embarrassment to our country and many members of our party is now once again looking like a massive federal trap designed to trap President Trump.

Since leaving office, the former president has felt the weight of the same law enforcement agencies that insisted Hunter Biden's laptop was fake and Trump's collusion with Russia was real. They brought down Trump in a way that seemed unfair even to Al Capone. Possible crimes range from mishandling classified documents (something Obama, Biden, and Pence have publicly acknowledged) to inflating real estate holdings and bank fraud (though , except that the bank claims that it was repaid on time with interest and that there was no such thing).

Here we go to Iowa State. Monday's caucus ended with one clear conclusion. That means Americans see President Trump as the man standing between them and a corrupt, out-of-control, highly politicized federal government.

Freedom-loving Americans, conservatives, and Republicans need to unite behind President Trump. The left benefits from DC's powerful bureaucracy, technology companies, mainstream media, and celebrities. Many companies will ignore federal law and donate their talent, technology and platforms to help Biden win.

So to stand a chance, and I believe we have a good chance, we must invest our limited resources in the general election and support the former president. It will not be easy to defeat an organization that orchestrated disinformation to subvert our faith and trust in American democracy. But as 2016 proved, it can be done. Vivek Ramaswamy said and did the right thing Monday night in supporting Trump.

It's time for Haley and DeSantis to do the same.
