Barry Moore Announces US Senate Campaign
US Representative Barry Moore, a Republican from Enterprise, is confident in his candidacy for the Alabama Senate seat. He’s been a steadfast supporter of former President Donald Trump since 2015.
Moore, who has been serving in Congress since 2020, kicked off his US Senate campaign last week. He intends to uphold Trump’s “America First” agenda if elected.
During a recent segment on WVNN’s “Yafie Program,” lawmakers touched on Moore’s campaign.
“We need to have Yaffi to those who know it [will have] He’s on the back of President Trump and is a true conservative,” Moore stated. He emphasized that he was among the first elected officials to back Trump, highlighting his loyalty since the beginning.
Moore reminisced about his early decision to support Trump during the 2016 presidential race. “We were at the Stadium Stadium at Rud Purds,” recalled Moore. “I went to the RV parked at the southern tip and prayed. There were 17 candidates in the primary. I thought, should I go first or last? And I decided to go first.”
Moore also touted his conservative achievements as a state legislator. “I’ve been labeled the most reliable conservative vote in Congress,” he claimed. “When people frequently wonder why things don’t change in D.C., it’s because I don’t change. I stood firmly with Trump from day one and pushed 100% of his agenda through Congress. My liberty score is the highest among our state’s delegation.”
In a recent poll, Moore’s support stood at 8.8%, trailing behind another candidate, who has 24%.
