‘Benefit His Family’: Kevin McCarthy Says Biden Investigation Is ‘Rising To The Level Of Impeachment Inquiry’

Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Monday that the Biden investigation “has risen to the level of an impeachment inquiry.”

McCarthy told Hannity that the House is investigating allegations that President Joe Biden traded foreign policy decisions for cash when he was vice president in the Obama administration. Two Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblowers appeared in parliament Last week, he testified that he obstructed the Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation into Hunter Biden. The Speaker of the House said the FD-1023 form alleges the Bidens “accepted bribes” and was subsequently turned over to the FBI. Former US Attorney General Bill Barr had the document sent to his office in Philadelphia, where he confirmed the document’s authenticity, McCarthy continued. The FBI is said to have “held” the document with the IRS, he added.

“So, not only do they claim they took bribes, but information is now uncovered that 16 out of 17 payments from Romania were made to a Biden dummy firm while Mr. Biden was Vice President. Some 10-year IRS officials who came forward said the Biden family had been treated differently,” McCarthy said.

“We just followed where the information led us,” McCarthy insists. “This has risen to the level of an impeachment inquiry, which gives Congress the most powerful authority to obtain the rest of the knowledge and information it needs, because this president has also used the weaponization of government to the benefit of his family and denied Congress the ability to oversee, something not seen since Richard Nixon.”

McCarthy pointed out that the Biden family claims to run the company, but has never actually set up an office. He also wondered why they allegedly chose to receive money from countries that are enemies of the US, such as China, rather than US allies like France.

“I believe we will follow this through to the end,” McCarthy said.
