“President Biden's Climate Pollution Reduction Grants will give local governments the initiative and empower them to develop climate solutions that work for their communities,” John Podesta, senior advisor to the president for international climate policy, said of the funding. “These grants will help state and local governments improve the air quality and health of their communities while accelerating progress toward U.S. climate goals.”
