President Joe Biden met with Charles III for the first time since he missed his coronation on Monday.
The two leaders met at Windsor Castle before attending a climate event with philanthropists and investors.

Biden did not attend the coronation of the king in May. The administration sent First Lady Jill Biden instead, but the White House was tight-lipped about why the president did not visit Britain at the time. (Related: Charles III officially crowned in Westminster Abbey)
“I told him he called the king and congratulated him, and they said they would — they would get together later, and they are,” the White House said. Biden will also meet with British Prime Minister Rishi Snak and travel to Lithuania to attend the NATO summit.
