The Biden administration is funding efforts to advance the status of women in Yemen, but its approach to dealing with the Houthi attack has faced criticism.
Brent Sadler, a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation, told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the U.S. efforts “have had no impact on the Houthis as they continue their attacks unabated.”
Some say Biden needs to take “decisive action” to stop the Houthis.
“You have to have some backbone to get something done, to get some kind of edge,” retired Army Gen. Jack Keene told Fox News.
“This administration has failed to do that time and time again, and you know, we're putting our troops and sailors at risk here,” he continued.
