Officials with the Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety (BLDPS) said the buck was trapped at a senior care facility.
The incident occurred at Arbor North Living in Blackman Township, Michigan.
According to a BLPDS post, on the night of Nov. 4, the animal prevented staff from entering the living room of the apartment. facebook. Staff were unable to check on the elderly resident’s condition. Two BLDPS personnel arrived at the facility but were unable to enter the apartment because the door was locked. Officials said they continued to break the glass patio door.
Body camera footage shows the deer wreaking havoc in the apartment, with one officer breaking the glass with a baton and the deer fleeing.
A 103-year-old woman who lived in the apartment suffered non-life-threatening injuries, BLDPS said.

“The animal caused further damage in its attempt to escape and left blood stains throughout the apartment, likely from wounds sustained during the break-in.”
