The box containing cremated human remains appears to belong to someone named Ann Kringle.
Cochis County, Arizona — Cochise County Sheriff's Office Residents are trying to find the deceased's relatives after discovering his cremated remains on a walking trail.
The box containing the remains was discovered on the afternoon of January 24 near milepost 7 on Charleston Road, which runs from Sierra Vista to Tombstone.
According to the label on the box, the remains belonged to an individual named Ann Kringle, who died in November 2012 and was cremated at a facility in Murrieta, California.
It's unclear how the box ended up in rural southern Arizona.
CCSO is searching for surviving relatives of the deceased. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 520-432-9500.
