Alexandre de Moraes, the Brazilian Supreme Court judge who banned Twitter in Brazil, petitioned the government to block members of the public's social media accounts because of their political beliefs, according to a screenshot of a document published by Twitter on Wednesday.
According to the Alexandre File Twitter account, De Moraes has quietly petitioned the federal government to block the accounts of three social media users who each have fewer than 2,000 Twitter followers, and who the website lists as official affiliates. One screenshot appears to show two of the three accounts listed by the Alexandre File Twitter account.
“The aforementioned citizen's accounts were followed by a small number of people, and their posts only expressed conservative views and support for politicians,” Alexander Files wrote.
“Mr Moraes was unable to identify a single illegal post by these individuals, let alone find a reason to block their entire accounts, likely because Mr Moraes did not agree with his political beliefs, they were censored,” the account's post read.
The censorship rules of Alexandre de Moraes include the surveillance of political activities, pro-Eminentes political activities, and Brazilian society.

According to screenshots of the documents, De Moraes not only blocked the user's Twitter account, but also several of his YouTube and Instagram accounts.
According to additional screenshots shared by Alexander Files, this order comes in addition to those he issued to block the accounts of prominent journalists, media figures and politicians critical of him.

The file also details that De Moraes had blocked Brazilian senator Marcos Ribeiro do Val, an action the account said was “in direct violation of Brazilian law.”

“Anyone who attempts to expose him or his accomplices in any way must be silenced in the name of 'democracy,'” the account states.
The account noted that the blockage “violates articles 5 and 220 of the Brazilian Constitution.”
According to the documents, do Val called Brazil's federal police chief, Fabio Alvares Shoa, a “stooge” of de Moraes, who claimed this was a violation of the human rights of Brazilians.
The release of the documents by Judge Alexander Files is the latest chapter in an ongoing saga surrounding the judge's apparent conflict with Elon Musk's media companies.
In mid-August, Musk suspended Twitter's operations in Brazil after Twitter accused him of threatening to jail Twitter's legal representative in Brazil for not complying with de Moraes' censorship. request.

Then on Friday, de Moraes formally banned the company's entire platform in Brazil, citing the lack of legal representation, and also froze the company's bank accounts and those of another Musk-owned company, satellite operator Starlink.
