Candlelight vigil held at crash site in Maricopa County
Maricopa County, Arizona – Head-on collision accident Maricopa County According to the sheriff's office, a man and woman were killed Saturday.
The accident happened nearby 85th Street and McDowell Road Around 1:20 pm on September 21st.
Four people were taken to the hospital, some with life-threatening injuries, according to MCSO Sergeant Joaquin Enriquez. Two people, a man and a woman, died at the scene.
“A child was also involved but his injuries are not life-threatening,” Sergeant Enriquez said.
The day after the crash, family members gathered at the crash site for a candlelight vigil in memory of the victims.
According to family members, the woman who died was Gina Bejarano, who is survived by three daughters.
The identity of the dead man has not been confirmed.
There's no word yet on the cause of the crash.
