Cause Of Death Of Chris Pratt’s Stunt Double Tony McFarr Revealed

Tony McFarr, famous for working as stuntman for actor Chris Pratt, has died from heart problems believed to be caused by acute alcohol poisoning due to prolonged heavy drinking.

According to TMZ, documents filed by the Orange County, Florida, coroner officially stated that McPherr's cause of death was arrhythmia. The report further stated that McPherr's arrhythmia was due to a problem with his heart valve. The coroner concluded that causes of death included alcohol intoxication and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, also known as COPD, a lung disease that causes breathing problems. TMZMcPhaagh died in May at the age of 47.

McFarr's autopsy revealed that the Hollywood stuntman had a history of heavy alcohol use. At the time of his death, McFarr's blood alcohol content, or BAC, was high. The coroner recorded McFarr's BAC at 0.29 percent. For reference, the limit for driving in most states is 0.08 percent, according to TMZ.

McFarr was known for his daredevil abilities and zest for life. His body was discovered in his home, but it appears he had been dead for some time. According to TMZ, McFarr's body was already in a state of decomposition when he was discovered dead.

Following an examination, the coroner determined his death was accidental.

His work includes “Bones”, “Homeland”, “Teen Wolf”, “The Hunger Games 2: Mockingjay – Part 1”, “The Fast and the Furious”, and “Captain America: Civil War”, in which he performed as a stuntman. He has also appeared in “MacGyver” and “One Tree Hill”.
