Shen Yun, a traditional Chinese dance company, faces an increase in the threat of bombs as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has expressed opposition to the group.

He said the origin of the threat is unknown and that it will not stop Shen Yun from performing scheduled performances.
“They match the purpose of the CCP and the overall pattern of harassment, interference and sabotage that we have experienced over the years,” he said in a statement to the Daily Coller. Many Shen Yun performers belong to the religious movement Falun Gong (also known as Falun Gong), which was born in China in the early 1990s. This practice includes meditation and self-improvement, centering on three core principles: truth, compassion and tolerance.
