Television host Chris Wallace announced Monday that he is leaving CNN after three years as host.
Mr. Wallace previously hosted FOX News Sunday on the FOX News Channel and Meet The Press on NBC News. said According to The Daily Beast, he is leaving CNN to pursue opportunities on independent platforms such as streaming and podcasting. The 77-year-old newscaster said independent media “seems to be the scene of the action” and that podcasters like Joe Rogan and Charlamagne the God could have a major influence on the 2024 presidential election. Wallace decided not to negotiate a seven-figure contract after joining the station three years ago to join its streaming business CNN+.
